Nintendo is proving once and for all: We’ll see ANYTHING if you slap this theme song in front of it. Ok, we got it, your theme song is cool even if it’s 16-bit. Think about it; new video game companies are building cool video games with cool graphics but there haven’t been significant changes in Pokémon video games since they have been released. 5 days ago Nintendo announces that “Pokémon Red Version, Blue Version and Yellow Version will arrive on Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS on 27th February.”
The first episode of Pokémon, which is “Pokémon, I Choose You!” was released in April 1, 1997. Ash Ketchum received its first Pokémon from Professor Oak and later on this Pokémon has become the new face of cuteness all around the world. But the thing you might didn’t know is first Pokémon game was released in February 27, 1996 – long before Pokémon cartoon, there are games of it, which is “Pocket Monsters: Red” and “Pocket Monsters: Green”. These games were the first Pokémon game ever released to the public, in Japan February 27, 1996.
After I write down all of the dates, you might have noticed something by now: Release dates. But gamers expect more creativity from Nintendo and some of them are annoyed by the re-release of the game, some of their comments:
“I think it would be so cool if we could get Pokémon on PS4 and Xbox One as a full 3rd person RPG. Of course, it will never happen… ”
“People go on about too many remasters being made on current consoles. Nintendo doesn’t even bother to do that.”
I couldn’t agree more…
